If you want to eat more legumes (pulses), but don't know where to start, this soup is ideal for a small addition of legumes. Navy beans have mild flavors, so they are excellent in soup. They will make the texture creamier and you will benefit from a greater intake of protein, fiber, iron, and other minerals. To do this, cook, rinse, then drain 125 mL (1/2 cup) of navy beans and add them to step 4 of the recipe. That's it, as simple as that
